PET is the abbreviation of Polyethylene Terephthalate, referred to as PET or PETP. Chinese means: poly-terephthalic acid plastics, including polyethylene terephthalate PET and polybutylene terephthalate PBT. Polyethylene terephthalate is also commonly known as polyester resin. It is a polycondensate of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, collectivly referred to as thermoplastic polyester together with PBT, or saturated polyester.
