What are the reasons for the poor ink adhesion in brochure p

Many printing companies will have the problem of weak ink adhesion when printing brochures. What are the reasons for this situation?

First, it may be due to the poorly adapted processing of the brochure printing substrate, which results in a relatively low wetting tension.

Second, some things added to the printed material film of the brochure formed a precipitation layer, which affected the adhesion firmness of the ink layer.

Third, the printing substrate is not good, it absorbs moisture itself, or the performance of the ink is not good, the wrong use of the ink, the mixed use of different inks, the performance of the ink has deteriorated, and so on.

Fourth, it is not handled properly during drying, and there are more residual solvents. Environmental conditions or the contents of the package have reduced the adhesion fastness of the ink.

In response to these situations, corresponding countermeasures are proposed.

First, test the wetting tension, and if found to be unqualified, the printed substrate should be replaced immediately, especially for corona treated films. These should be tested with a test solution for wetting tension.

Second, when the precipitation layer affects the adhesion fastness of the ink, the printing substrate should be replaced or a reasonable solution should be found with the ink manufacturer at this time. If it is the first time that the film is used, the properties and characteristics of the film should be investigated before use, and the most suitable ink should be selected.

Third, for ink problems, the ink should be replaced in time or whether the ink used has the ink adhesion firmness. In order to prevent ink mixing, the remaining ink should be marked.
