The difference between PE and PVC plastic packaging

The difference between PE and PVC plastic packaging

PVC

   Commonly used are power cord packaging bags, wiring board packaging bags, as well as stationery packaging, hardware packaging bags, such as commemorative coins, glasses cloth single-piece PVC plastic packaging bags.

   Advantages Acid and alkali resistance, not resistant to organic solvents, excellent electrical insulation; refractory and self-interesting properties, which are very important for home appliance materials.

Also more wear-resistant, can eliminate sound and vibration;

   Hard PVC: surface hardness, tensile strength, rigidity and other mechanical strength are higher than PE, close to ABS, can be used for engineering

material.

   Soft PVC, quite soft, rubbery, resistant to folding

   Disadvantages Hard PVC will become brittle at low temperature; soft PVC will harden at low temperature. For rigid PVC, it is sensitive to deformation and cannot be completely restored after deformation; for soft PVC, plasticizer will move out, which will cause the material to harden;

LDPE

   Commonly known as low pressure PE bags

   Advantages Acid and alkali resistance, organic solvent resistance, excellent electrical insulation, and can maintain a certain toughness at low temperatures.

    Disadvantages Poor mechanical properties, poor ventilation, easy to deform, easy to age, easy to brittle, easy stress cracking, low surface hardness, easy

Scratch. Difficult to print, when printing, surface discharge treatment, no plating, matte surface
