How many kinds of environmentally friendly inks are commonly

1. Water-based ink
The solvent of water-based ink is water, which does not contain various volatile aromatic hydrocarbon organic compounds. Compared with other inks, the advantages of water-based inks have a good performance in terms of performance and environmental protection. The volatilization of organic substances is significantly reduced, and it will not cause harm to the health of operators. Excellent performance, basically no pollution to environmental production, is an environment-friendly ink. At the same time, there are few harmful substances in the residual oil after the ink is dried.
2. Vegetable oil ink
Vegetable oil-based inks and soybean oil-based inks belong to vegetable inks. Oil-based inks have many advantages; high color concentration, rich printing color effect; cost-effective printing, the use of the same amount of ink can increase by 10%, reducing printing costs; in normal production printing, the viscosity value is small, printing stability and The printing suitability is better than other inks; the oil of vegetable oil-based ink is a kind of mineral oil, which can effectively reduce V0C and fully conform to the concept of green environmental protection. However, it should be noted that vegetable oil-based inks are still in the stage of continuous optimization due to problems such as slow drying speed. The common vegetable oil-based ink is soybean oil-based ink, which is used more in newspaper and sheet-fed printing.
3. Energy curing ink
At present, energy-curable inks are classified by curing methods. The inks that use high-energy beam irradiation as the curing method are called electron beam-curing inks, also known as EB inks, and the inks that are irradiated with ultraviolet light as the curing method are called ultraviolet light-curing inks. Also called UV ink.
UV ink is also UV-curable ink. The environmental protection of this ink is reflected in that it does not add volatile organic solvents. It is one of the most widely used and fast-growing environmentally friendly inks on the market. It can be seen from various researches and applications that the current UV ink has been developed relatively maturely. The content of some traditional pollutants is very small, and the emission of pollutants is also very small. It can be said that it is a very environmentally friendly type of ink. In the process of use, the drying process is fast, the plate is not pasted, the dots are clear, and the color is bright. The disadvantage is that some substrates cannot be attached, and the scope of application is limited. With the continuous improvement of environmental protection requirements, the application and development of UV inks have made continuous progress, and the future development is more worth looking forward to.
EB ink is also known as electron beam curing ink. EB ink has stable and uniform printing effect, good repeatability, no initiator, and less odor than UV ink. However, the use cost of EB ink is relatively large. In the process of use, it needs to invest a large amount of operating costs, and the maintenance and technical support of related equipment also requires a lot of costs, so the application is limited.
4. Water-based UV ink
Water-based UV ink is a chemically reactive ink, its environmental protection is reflected in no organic solvent added, very little V0C emission, no odor, and no danger of inflammability and explosion. Water-based UV ink has a good performance in controlling the viscosity and rheology of the ink, which makes it show better performance in the printing process. At present, water-based UV inks have been successfully developed and applied in the industry.
