At the end of the last century, modern glass manufacturing technology was introduced to our country. In 1904, the Boshan Glass Company was established in Boshan, Shandong, which produced the earliest national glass industry.
The Jinghua Glass Factory, established in Shanghai in the early 1930s, was the first factory in my country to continuously manufacture glass bottles and jars with a pool furnace and an automatic machine.
From the founding of the People’s Republic of China to the 1960s, my country’s glass packaging container industry was in its infancy. During the first five-year plan period, Beijing Glass Factory introduced a full set of technical glass production technology and equipment from Germany, and built the largest technical glass factory in Asia at that time. Subsequently, Guangdong Glass Factory, Beijing Glass Factory No. 2 and Xiangtan Glass Factory were built one after another. And other large-scale bottle glass factories, and introduced the US Emhart company and the former Soviet Union's in-line bottle making machine, and gradually realized the mechanization and continuity of production, which not only increased the production capacity several times, but also introduced the occurrence of Furnace small tank furnace technology, in-line bottle making machine, etc. provide a model for my country's daily glass equipment technology, and basically formed the embryonic form of my country's glass packaging container industry.
From the 1960s to the early 1970s, with the continuous successful production of domestic equipment and other materials, the production development of the glass packaging container industry was promoted.
With the reform and opening up, the glass packaging container industry has continuously introduced new technologies, new equipment, and new materials, which has promoted the improvement of the level of domestic equipment and refractory materials. The glass factory has adopted a large number of advanced technologies and equipment in conjunction with the expansion and transformation of the factory to make my country's glass The packaging container industry has taken a big step forward in kiln energy saving, production equipment and control levels.
In the 1990s, enterprises entered the market economy in an all-round way, and a number of large enterprises emerged at the historic moment. The involvement of foreign glass enterprise groups has established a number of high-level joint ventures and sole proprietorships; joint-stock, public and non-public economies have injected new vitality into the industry.
In the 21st century, the production of glass packaging containers has made a new development. The equipment level of advanced enterprises has been continuously improved, and the enterprise groups have become large-scale, and there has been a glass packaging container enterprise group with an annual output of more than three million tons.
Nowadays, the management level and equipment level of enterprises have been greatly improved. Electronic timing, servo mechanism, multi-unit, multi-drop bottle making machines, and automatic inspection machines have become standard equipment in the production line of the enterprise. Oiling robots have also begun to be applied in some enterprises. With the development of information technology, the information management of enterprises is also being promoted. Some companies have begun to build digital factories, and are preparing to gradually digitalize the production workshops of their subsidiaries, and finally realize interconnection and interoperability in order to move towards intelligence. Consolidate the foundation for production.
6. Promote the sustainable and high-quality development of glass containers with green concepts
On March 11, 2021, the Fourth Session of the Thirteenth National People's Congress voted and passed the resolutions on the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Outline of Vision Goals for 2035.
