First commercial biaxially oriented HDPE bottle unveiled in

The first biaxially oriented HDPE bottle using injection stretch blow molding is currently on the shelves of the Italian supermarket chain UNES. This product is a bottle filled with dishwashing liquid and is graded by Total France.

The processor of this new product is Incoplas from Brussels, Belgium, which has continuously invested in technological development in recent years to reduce the use of materials while maintaining the performance and quality of the bottle, and has focused on the use of injection moulding for the past few years. Blow molding technology produces biaxially oriented HDPE bottles. Incoplas uses HDPE SB 1359 grade raw material produced by French Total, which makes the molded bottle material less and lighter, and has excellent mechanical properties, soft touch, and high transparency.

At present, Incoplas produces bottle sizes up to 1 liter capacity, which are suitable for the standard requirements of various markets. Compared with the equivalent extrusion blow molded HDPE bottle, the material can be reduced by up to 50%, which is also due to the characteristics of SB 1359 resin and the unique molecular design that makes it more suitable for injection stretch blow molding technology.
