What kinds of plastic materials are there?

The most common thermoplastic sheets of PVC, PET, PP, PS, ABS, EPS, HIPS can be used for blistering.

PET includes: APET, PETG, GAG

PVC is not environmentally friendly, PET is environmentally friendly.

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) hard sheet has moderate toughness, is not easy to burn, generates chlorine gas when burning, and has certain influence on the environment. PVC is easy to heat seal, and can be sealed by sealing machine and high frequency machine. It is the main raw material for producing transparent plastic products. .

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) hard sheet has good toughness, high transparency, easy to burn, no harmful gas when burning, is an environmentally friendly material, but high in price, suitable for high-grade plastic products, blister in Europe and America. The blister generally requires a PET hard sheet, but it is not easy to heat seal, which brings great difficulty to the package. In order to solve this problem, a kind of PETG ethylene glycol modified-polyethylene terephthalate is used. Material, this material has both the heat-to-heatability of PVC and the high environmental and transparency of PET, but at a higher price.

PS (polystyrene) hard sheet has low density, poor toughness, easy to burn, and produces styrene gas (hazardous gas) when burned, so it is generally used to produce various industrial plastic trays.
