The reasons that affect the imbalance of ink and water balance are generally caused by the amount of ink and the supply of fountain solution. Small water and large ink: During the offset printing process, the blank area on the printing plate is attached with a layer of dampening solution water film to avoid ink sticking to the blank area on the printing plate. Ink is hung in the blank areas on the plate, which affects the quality of printing. A small amount of ink will cause the printed matter to have a lighter ink layer, decreased yellowness, false imprints, white spots and other undesirable phenomena.
        2. Large water and small ink: In this phenomenon, it will cause serious ink emulsification, which will cause the printing on the surface of the printed product to be false and the printing color is rough and not delicate, which can not reach the standard printing color sample.
        3. Small water and large ink: When the ink is too watery, it is easy to cause paste and dirt, the ink layer on the surface of the printed matter is thicker, the ink color in each area is uneven, and the dots are not clear.
        4. Large water and small ink: In this case, the fountain solution will promote the emulsification speed of the ink, and the ink color of the water will be lighter and less saturated, resulting in a lighter ink layer of the printed pattern, and the layer is dull and gray and lacks luster.
        In order to ensure a good printing effect, it needs to be controlled from three aspects: offset press, fountain solution and ink. The choice of fountain solution is mainly based on two aspects of PH value and concentration.
