How to solve the color difference in the printed boxes?

1.Color of paper

We know that the color of the printed box will be different depending on the whiteness of the paper. Because different whiteness is equal to adding different black, red, blue or yellow in the ink, although the ink volume and hue are not changed in printing, the practical ink has certain transparency, and the role of color varies with the whiteness of the paper. Different and appear, forming different color differences.

We need to use the same batch of paper when printing. What we need to pay attention to is to ensure that the paper has the same weight, specification, size, and batch number as the date of production, so that the color of the box will not appear because of a different paper. Rendering of chromatic aberration.

2. Gloss and smoothness of printed paper

The gloss of the box depends on the gloss and smoothness of the paper. Offset color printing is when the light is incident on the surface of the paper, the light is reflected to the retina of the human eye, and the color is seen through the photosynthesis received by the color sensing cells. When we use paper with good gloss and smoothness for printing, we will find that the pictures and colors on the printed boxes are brighter and fuller;

However, when we use relatively rough paper for printing, because the surface of the paper is rough, it will form diffuse reflection, which affects the speed of light transmission and the quality of ink attached to the surface of the paper, which greatly affects the color of the packaging box.

3. Impact of printing process

We know that the use of different printing processes will have different effects on the quality of printed boxes. Our packaging box printing factories have different effects after selecting different printing processes. Because some of our processes are physical and some are chemical, the changes presented are different.
