Blister Packaging Material Selection Standard Classification

Plastic raw materials are only plastic sheets, film thickness is generally not more than 1.5MM, plastic products mainly to high-quality PVC, PET, PP, PS, GAG, flocking and other plastic materials, production of high-grade and various specifications Electronic blister packs, stationery blister packs, toys blister packs, hardware blister packs, food blister packs, and day gifts craft blister packs.

PVC: The most commonly used material is soft, tough, and plastic. It can be made transparent and various colors. It is commonly used in transparent PVC plastic blister, cosmetic products, toy gifts and other products.

PET (A-PET): Hard, good toughness, high strength, bright surface, environmental protection, non-toxic, transparent and a variety of colors of the sheet. Disadvantages are that PET high frequency heat sealing is more difficult and the price is much more expensive than PVC. This material is often required to replace PVC with high-grade and environmentally friendly users.

PS: small density (light weight), environmental protection, non-toxic, very good plasticity, poor toughness and brittle, can not be made of bright materials, it can only be made into the bottom bracket, because of its easy to crack, this should not be recycled

PP: The material is particularly soft, good toughness, environmental protection, non-toxic, high temperature, often made of food utensils or other high-temperature products packaging; but its poor plasticity, processing difficulties, poor surface gloss, and processing will change color shallow. Blister is mainly classified as follows:

(1) Material Classification: PVC Blister, PS Blister, PET Blister, ABS Blister, PP Blister, PC Blister, PE Blister, Acrylic Blister, Flocking Blister, etc.

(2) Industry classification: food blister, medicine blister, electronic blister, health care products blister, metal blister, cosmetics blister, toy blister, daily necessities plastic blister.

(3) shape classification: plastic tray, plastic cover, folded plastic, three fold plastic, plastic bottom cover (world box plastic), high frequency plastic, plastic folding edge and so on.

(4) Product classification: Blister light box, plastic door, plastic characters, car panel, pet cage chassis, toy car shell, rear projection TV shell, air conditioning shell, plastic bubble shell, plastic bubble cap, thick suction Plastic, thick sheet plastic, thick wall plastic, plastic products, plastic packaging

(5) sheet plastic, PVC sheet plastic, ABS sheet plastic, PC sheet plastic, PS sheet plastic, PETG sheet plastic, acrylic plastic

(6) Medical foods and plastics, food trays, oral liquid blister, medical packaging blister, food packaging Blister blister packaging commonly used plastics and features blister packaging sheet called hard film or film, commonly used are: PET (polyethylene terephthalate) hard sheets, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) hard sheets, PS (polystyrene) hard sheets. PS hard film has low density, poor toughness, and is easy to burn. When it is burned, it will produce styrene gas (which is a harmful gas), so it is generally used to produce various industrial plastic trays. PVC hard sheet has moderate toughness, is not easy to burn, and generates chlorine when it is burned, which has a certain impact on the environment. PVC is easy to heat and can be sealed by a sealing machine and high-frequency machine. It is the main raw material for producing transparent plastic products. PET hard film has good toughness, high transparency, easy to burn, does not produce harmful gases when burning, and belongs to environmental protection materials, but its price is high, and it is suitable for high-grade plastic products. Generally, PET plastic film is required for plastic blister in European and American countries, but It is not easy to heat, and it brings great difficulties to the package. To solve this problem, people laminate a layer of PVC film on the surface of the PET, which is named PETG hard film, but the price is higher.
