Polypropylene is the lightest of the general-purpose plastics, and its heat resistance is the highest among general-purpose plastics. It can be used at 100 ° C to 120 ° C for a long time. High crystallinity, tensile strength and hardness are better than polyethylene, moisture resistance, water resistance and odor resistance are better, and can be heat sealed. Excellent bending fatigue resistance, can withstand the acid, alkali, salt liquid below 80 ° C and most organic solvents such as polypropylene packaging box to take advantage of this feature.

 

Cold resistance, poor aging resistance, poor air tightness, unsuitable for use at low temperatures, and susceptible to light and oxygen. It must be surface treated before bonding or printing.


The mechanical strength is very good, has good hardness, wear resistance and folding resistance, good heat resistance and cold resistance, good moisture resistance, air tightness and excellent odor resistance, and can resist weak acid and weak alkali. And most solvents, good oil resistance, suitable for printing, not resistant to strong alkali, strong acid, chlorinated hydrocarbons, etc.
